Plummeting at the end of the session today, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 449 points to 10,609. The index is down over 800 points for the week and is down over 3600 points, or over 25 percent, from its 52-week high of 14,279.

It has gained less than 85 points for the entirety of Bush's presidency, or less than 0.8 percent in nearly eight years.

All that time, wasted.

By comparison, during Clinton's time in office, the Dow gained over 7300 points, up over 220 percent.

Happy hump day, everybody.
